Thank You for Your Help in 2015!

We could not do what we do without all of you! We appreciate the volunteers who come to school and the wonderful, faithful alumni and donors from all over the country. . . even Brownie Troop 707 Leader Grace Kent from Portland, Oregon. Grace led her daughters and the troop in the 1950's!

Because of donors we were able to give books to all the students, provide readers (as in volunteers, not little glasses) to Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms, tutors who work one-on-one, Earth Day, Career Day, field trip to see The Diary of Anne Frank at the Berman Theatre, pizza party and support for our cast of Annie Jr. with volunteer director Pat Shaye, Summer in the City programming, Camp Pasteur, 1 College Scholarship of $1,000, food, books and gift cards for 61 families in need. (In answer to many of you, these families are chosen by teachers and the social worker.)Because of our Foundation alum Eric Lipson and the Ann Arbor Rotary planted our vegetable garden and fruit trees. Also, Summer in the City painted a wonderful mural down the Stoepel hallway to brighten it for the younger students. Come see it!
Many of you were generous to our Pasteur family and we are so appreciative!

Now we are planning on a NEW program for parents of young children.Alum Berna Friedman Ravitz, is donating her time to bring a program called Simply Smart Kids. We will be looking for volunteers to help with toddlers on a Saturday morning. We will also be looking for some funds to buy books, book bags and educational toys for the participants. This program will begin in January and run through April.

Again, thank you all for your help!

If you want to help with funding for 2016 and have your gift in for 2015 please send asap or donate on our
